How about a Solstice cocktail from here to send March off in style, or a non alchoholic Pear, Rosemary and Lemongrass cocktail from here, they both look pretty delicious!

Interior Ideas - Calm Kitchens

1/ 2/ 3/ 4

Don't you just love these Kitchens? We've nearly finished ours (a year later than planned) and  I'm hoping it will have a similar calm, relaxed feel. I love the combination of white and wood, with a few pictures and rugs thrown in for good measure. I'll show you some pictures of ours when we're done.

Amazing Art - Lydia Crook

Love these cards by Lydia Crook which are prints of her original paper cuts. The rainbow is my favourite, it looks so simple but all of the words to 'Over the Rainbow' are intricately cut into the different colours, amazing!

Buy the cards here.

Jewellery

These are some of the gemstone chip necklaces I have in the shop at the moment, peridot, amethyst, and rose quartz. I like the way the jagged chips give a simple necklace a more organic feel. See them here....

Beautiful flowers for Mother's Day and a trip to the zoo for Dex's birthday, he loved seeing all the animals but was mostly fascinated by their poo!

Sweets and Treats - Chocolate Cake

swedish chocolate cake / chocolate molten cake / chocolate cupcake / chocolate souffle
I don't really bake but these chocolate cakes look so delicious I thought I'd give it a go.

Here's my version of the chocolate molten cake, maybe not as molten as it should be but it tasted pretty good for a first attempt. I changed the recipe a bit as I wanted it to be dairy free, here's what I used:

200g dark chocolate
4 tbsp dairy free sunflower spread
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2cup flour

Melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave, whisk the eggs and sugar together in a separate bowl then stir it all together whilst adding the flour. Pour the mixture into greased ramekins or a muffin tray, it should make about 9 small cakes, and bake at 200 degrees C for 8 to 10 mins.

I think I left mine in the oven for a couple of minutes too long, but they were still really good, and they still tasted great the next day, just like chocolate brownies!
